Recreational activities abound and include swimming, horseback riding, hiking, boating, fishing, hunting and more at Lake Thunderbird and Little River State Park. The lake is 4,621 acres with 86 miles of shoreline and a 1,834-acre park.

Excellent fishing can also be found at Lake Stanley Draper. Moore's parks and recreation department maintains more than 180 acres of parks, a public swimming pool, tennis courts, a community center and senior citizens center. 

Several parks feature walking trails and playground equipment.
   


  

KidsPlay Moore, an 11,000 sq ft playground, was designed by children and built last year by volunteers.

Adult programs offered include softball, basketball and volleyball leagues, aerobic and martial arts classes.

Moore's youth can participate in soccer, baseball, basketball, football, softball and wrestling.
  
Moore also offers two 18-hole golf courses: Broadmoore Golf Course and Moore Golf and Athletic Club, a private course that offers 4 sets of tee boxes, a driving range, putting and chipping greens.

Lakeside Golf Course is a 9-hole course with a driving range and putting green. In addition, there are numerous other courses within a short driving distance.
